What are others’ experiences with Gen Z and Christianity? More religious? Less religious?
It seems like some polls say Gen Z is getting more religious, while others say they are less. I was thinking about this today when I realized that out of myself, my sister, and my five cousins, my little sister is the only one who is still Christian. The other six of us (we’re all Gen Z) have left it. It seems like a fair amount of people my age that I know as atheists were also once Christians, but left at some point. Most of the Gen Z people I know who went from “atheism” to Christianity are people who were raised Christian, were not super confident in their religion for a while, and then vigorously rejoined it. I only know of maybe one person who truly went from atheist to theist. Curious to hear what other people have experienced!
