I worry ✨extra✨about going missing because I don’t have daily patterns
Just saw a post on habits and it gave me the motivation to write about a thought that pops into my head a couple times a week which feels more than is healthy. It’s not a worry that impedes my life but I kinda wish I didn’t think about it so much?
I worry that if I were to go missing for whatever unthinkable reason, no one would realize I was missing for a while decreasing my chances of being found alive. I don’t say this because I don’t have loved ones, but because I don’t have habits or form daily patterns.
I see news articles about people calling in welfare checks or filing missing persons reports because “she always calls me on her way home” or “it’s unlike her not to show up to church.” I live by myself and even though I have a sibling nearby, I see them super randomly and that’s not unusual. In fact, it WOULD be unusual for me to do something the same time every day or every week to the point someone pinpoints a pattern.
I feel like this might be a reason to try to be more consistent about things, but I’ll get to it tomorrow. Anyway, just thought I’d share and see if anyone relates (or not). Same time next week? 🥲
