I honestly think Hollywood has huge potential of making a next cultural phenomenon as long as they stop making remakes, sequels, and nostalgia baiting
If hollywood makes the right type of series or movie, that isn't nostalgiabait, remakes, or a sequel, even if its on streaming like Netflix, it still has massive potential of being huge.
People want something original, relatable, universal, instead of just remakes and nostalgia or political allegories. I honestly think that is why Hollywood has dropped the ball post COVID, I would even say MCU was saving Hollywood in the late 2010s because a lot of Western films were beginning to become more remakes and sequels.
