My male rabbit keeps humping me how do i stop it?

Behavior

My male rabbit has recently started chasing me around and trying to hump my legs every time I go into his pen. I’ve had him for about 3 years after rescuing him from my brother. I’m not exactly sure how old he is, but I think he’s around 4 years old. He’s neutered, which is why I’m so confused by this behavior.

He used to have a stuffed animal that he would hump, but he completely destroyed it, so I had to throw it away. He currently has a small rabbit bed that he humps NON STOP, but until this past week he had never tried to hump me.

Normally he stays in my garage, (yes its climate controlled and connected to the house) , but because we’re having a garage sale right now so I’ve temporarily moved him into my bedroom. I’m wondering if the change in environment could be contributing to it.

At this point it’s becoming really difficult to take care of him. I can’t even get into his pen to sweep or clean because he immediately starts chasing me. If I want to pet him or feed him, I have to lean over the x-pen or stay outside of it. Earlier I brought a broom and dustpan into his pen to clean, but I ended up just using it to block him because he wouldn’t stop trying to hump me.

Has anyone experienced this with a neutered rabbit before, or have any suggestions on how I can discourage this behavior?
