Getting a lower LSAT second attempt
Hello! Was looking for advice for this specific scenario but couldn’t find a ton. I scored a 170 on my first LSAT attempt (was practice testing higher) and decided to cram study and take again to attempt to boost it a bit higher. I think I burnt myself out and just had a rough day because I ended up scoring a few points lower.
Does anyone know if this will make a meaningful difference in T14 admissions? I know that they take the highest score, but I still think the psychology of seeing a lower second score might introduce doubt. Is it worth writing an addendum over?
I know this is super dependent mainly on me — but I was also curious if it’s worth risking to take a third time? I think with better study habits I could likely raise it, but even the small chance of getting lower again really freaks me out.
Any advice would be appreciated thank you so much!
