Meal Service SFO-LHR

Family and I are flying BA for the first time, and first long haul flight, next week. We depart SFO at 7:30pm and trying to figure out what and when meal service might be. Do they provide a dinner shortly after take off? Or breakfast before landing? Want to figure out if I should feed kids at airport or if we’ll get dinner on the flight. Thanks for any info!
