X rays

Man guys, after 6 months of working I STILL suck at taking x rays (periapicals). Sometimes I get it first try, sometimes I don’t. TBH I try not overthink as much as I used to, after the second shot I ask for help. Is it normal to be 6 months in and still struggle? Drs are understanding ab it but I hate retaking shots, makes me feel stupid when I ask for help but sometimes I know it’s best. I try to refresh my memory with videos but tips could also work :)
