where do i store my belongings during exams?

sorry this is such a stupid question but what are you supposed to do with your bags/laptops/non exam materials when you go to an exam? i’m at the fitness and recreation centre for both my exams and i have no clue where im actually meant to leave my belongings during the exam. 😭
