SPED (186)

I took my Special Education Specialist EC-12 (186) exam today. Although I don’t know how to feel about it, and will be 2 weeks until I get my results I wanted to share some advice. 240 is great for helping you prepare for the constructed response question but not for the actual exam. The $10 practice exam available in the Pearson website is your best guide. I actually think the pearson practice test was harder than the actual exam, but then again I am trying to stat positive and hoping my hard work paid off. In majority of the test I noticed that there was 2 obvious incorrect questions and then 2 possible answers. It was very wordy and exhausting. Must watch your pace (especially if you are a slow test taker) to have enough time for the CRQ. I am usually a fast test-taker and I used up most of the allotted time. I was actually paranoid I wasn’t going to finish on time but luckily I still had an hr left by the time I was done.
