Classic 350 Halcyon Grey (2022) – Halogen to LED headlight upgrade at service centre? Cost & feasibility?
I own a Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Halcyon Grey, 2022 model) and have been thinking of upgrading the stock halogen headlamp to the newer LED setup (like the ones seen on newer Classic variants).
Has anyone here done this officially at a Royal Enfield service centre? A few specific questions:
(1) Will Royal Enfield service centres replace the entire halogen headlamp assembly with an OEM LED unit, or do they only suggest bulb/reflector upgrades?
(2) Is this considered a plug-and-play upgrade on my model (2022 halogen variant), or does it require wiring/ECU changes?
(3) Most importantly, what is the approximate cost in Bangalore (parts + labour) if done through an authorised service centre?
(4) Will this affect warranty in any way if done officially?
I’ve seen aftermarket LED headlight units online, but I’d prefer OEM if available, even if it costs more, mainly for beam pattern, suitability and reliability. Any recent experiences or bill breakdowns would really help. Thanks in advance!
