So, the Deal with Vito and Flynn, wtf?

I mean, it’s one of the things that makes Vito a less sympathetic character than otherwise. He was obviously hitting on Flynn but why? We know intimidation to not expose his early morning trick BJ thing, but Vito also goes overboard messing with the boss’s daughter’s man like that.
