Good episode to introduce mlp to friends?

My friends said they would tolerate one episode on our next movie night and I want a good introduction episode, I was thinking either "The hearths warming club" for modern mlp fandom (plus for somthing to reverence when I play EAW for them) or "bridle gossip" since thats an early series episode
