Am I the only one who feels like skincare advice is completely contradictory?
The more I learn about skincare, the more confused I get. Just when I think I’ve figured it out, I come across another post, video, or comment saying the opposite. One person says to keep things simple.Another says you need products for every concern.
Some people say to exfoliate regularly. Others say most people do it too much Then there’s the diet debate. Some people say food has a big effect on skin. Others say it barely matters. The ingredient debates never seem to end. What’s frustrating is that people always seem to have results that support whatever they already believe. One person says a routine changed their skin completely, while another says the same thing made theirs worse. I know skincare is personal and what works for one person won’t work for everyone. But sometimes it feels impossible to tell which advice is actually worth paying attention to.
At this point, I think I’ve spent nearly as much time reading about skincare as doing it. Does anyone else get to the point where all the conflicting advice just becomes too much?
