I really do not get why so many of the watchers Idolize Maddie just because she is pretty.

I could understand this in Season 1 & 2 because Maddie was ‘fierce’ and ‘took risks’ or whatever (I’m genuinely not sorry if this offends you) but she did not make good choices this season. In no dammed way was she ‘boss lady’ or whatever yet people keep idolizing her as if she ran season 3.

This mainly refers to the term a lot of already know, hopefully, peaking in highschool. We already saw this happen with Nate. Nate was a great guy right? Dad’s rich, everything got handed to him, good house, a ‘well connected’ family with traditions, football’s quarterback(?) and this all got dumped as soon as season 3 hit with adulthood, he didn’t know how to deal with any of it, he didn’t know who to borrow from, who to ask for help and we all know how it ended.

The same literal thing happened with Maddie, she had a great group of friends in highschool, a boyfriend at her beck and call, a ‘bestfriend’ or whatever, by the end of highschool we saw how her life should’ve pivoted down due to Nate and Cassie but instead remained pretty well. Jump into Season 3, it’s covid time and she gets a job, but getting deep into the rabbit hole she doesn’t realize she has to dip her toes in to get anything, and without realizing anything she gets fucked because of Cassie and Nate’s stupidity.
