What is up with the wheelspins - it's always the next line when you skip unless there's a good car

This happened a bit too much now - when I skip the wheelspin animation I always get the line below the starting position. But if that line has a legendary or FH car I end up somewhere else on the wheel. That's quite lazily rigged.
