My husbands a great dad but sucks at being a husband

Maybe not totally related but I feel like a lot of people complain about their husbands not being a great dad or a lot of dads I know just work a lot.

My husband is a great dad. He priorities time with my son and even I have traveled for a weekend to spend time with friends. He’s very present and good with our son and we do pretty well parenting together we see eye to eye and he respects me as a mom.

But honestly he isn’t a great husband. He criticizes me, he’s impatient with me. He wants to hangout the three of us and I honestly just don’t even like spending time with him. I feel like he’s so not fun. We never laugh together. He’s like irritated with so many things I do (I find some things he does annoying too but I don’t constantly criticize him) that breaks down intimacy quick.

Honestly I just feel like we’re coexisting. I used to be so in love with him but it’s worn off and now I feel like I married the wrong person some days.

Just like.. if you don’t have fun with your husband what do you have?
