Does Wemby think that the WCF was the real final?

I feel like his out burst of emotion was a sign that he truly thought him and the Spurs won. That the rings were basically guaranteed because of how much the media fed the idea that the east/Knicks is just a cake walk.

Even after game 1 in the interview he said “I just need to play normal and we win”. Implying that it was him playing bad that lost rather than the Knicks playing good. And his arrogance to say he’s not worried in the slightest.

It genuinely feels like he thought if we just beat OKC the ring is his.
