Black lotus photographer honest review

I’m sure some of you ladies have heard of black lotus, she’s pretty established in SW industry. However, here goes my experience/ honest review of me working with her.

Whenever I book shoot, I have a vision and trying to work with her to see myself vision seemed impossible. She’s very adamant about her style of photography, I get it but I’m the one paying to have my pictures taken a certain way.

In addition to that, when I finally got the pictures, it was close to 3 weeks. On her website it said 2 weeks. I had to nudge her to get my pictures. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Also her photos weren’t approved on tryst dude to her watermark stamps on ALL of the pictures( I should’ve known better). So I had to cropped all the pictures myself and reupload, which added more time to have my pictures approved. So the total time to get my pictures active on tryst + my website took OVER a month. Again, time is money.

All of these have added inconveniences to my life. Her pictures turned out great but also I have to give myself credit that I booked at a 5 star hotel suite + my expensive outfit really helped.

All I’m saying is, what makes a high end photographer, high end is you. You dictate most of how the pictures will come out ie. you outfits, location. As much as I wanted to like her, the likeliness of me booking with her again is very slim.

Thankfully I found another pleasant photographer to work with her pictures turned out great as well. And much more pleasant to work with.
