Help a uni student budget/plan

As the title suggests, I'm a uni student who's just about done with grad and eventually I will be stepping out into the real world. All my life I've ever wanted was a gaming setup, yknow the big beefy ones.

However, now I know what a more realistic goal should be. I just don't want to starve myself of very simple leisures until I reach said goal. So. Just a decent gaming laptop. On the lower end, could maybe run like. Monster hunter rise sunbreak. Something like that. Maybe not elden ring. Maybe skyrim w mods. Dark souls series.

I care more for frames than quality, so how should I save up, to maybe buy something decent or nice in a year (if it isn't a realistic time frame, correct me) and what should I buy?

Please hold my hand at times if needed be if I ask alotta questions. And thank you for reading this in advance. Appreciate it.

P.S I do suspect it'll take more than a year due to financial setbacks from breaking my leg but let a man be delusional (don't. Lmao.)
