I can't see certain players name's while friends can?

I can't see some players names because they could be offensive or inappropriate. I play on xbox but my Playstation friends can see their in game names no problem. On my screen our teammates name will be ******** while on Playstation they will see their real name. Is there a setting I can turn on to show those hidden names or is this a bug?
