Xbox Summer Showcase Prologue
The world is changed,
I feel it in the water,
I feel it in the earth,
I smell it in the air,
Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember.
It began with the announcing at E3 Bethesda Showcase. Doom Eternal was given to the metal heads, middle aged, chillest and wisest of all gamers. Fallout 76 was given to the casual nerds, basement dwellers and scroungers of the wasteland. And Blades, Elder Scrolls Blades was given to the race of mobile gamers, who above all else desire to pay to win. For within each of these games was bound the strength and the will to placate all gamers. But they were all of them deceived, for another announcement was made. Deep in the land of Maryland, in the fluorescent cubicles of Bethesda, Todd Howard forged a final announcement, and into this announcement he poured his 16x the detail, his it just works, his chess club knowledge, and his will to dominate all rpgs.
One announcement to rule them all.
One by one, Bethesda fans fell to the power of the announcement, but there were some who resisted. A last alliance of schizo-sheog posters and cope-addled mega fans posted on the very eve of Xbox 2026 summer showcase, they coped for the freedom of all tes fans. Victory was near, but the power of the announcement could not be undone. It was in this moment, that Asha Sharma, last hope for Xbox, took up Phil Spencer's dropped ball.
Tomorrow.
