3rd degree burns almost always require skin grafts. There is no way she wouldn’t tell us all about her hospital stay and her experience in the burn unit. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have any doubt her parents were deadbeats who left her to be taken care of by the system, so I’m not trying to defend her bio parents at all. I understand being taken away from your parents because they are addicts, and put into foster care is traumatic. But I’ve always felt like the families she was placed with were nice and treated her well.
