MF Questions

Hi everyone,

I’ve been developing my own master fluid and I’m trying to better understand what most people consider the core components of a modern lava lamp fluid.

In your experience, is the master fluid primarily:
Distilled water
A density modifier (propylene glycol, glycerin, etc.)
Surfactants (SLS, SLES, Triton X-100.)
Or are there other major components that are commonly used?

I’m not looking for anyone’s exact recipe. I’m more interested in understanding which ingredients are doing the heavy lifting in most successful formulations.
