HAIR ADVICE NEEDED QUICKLY

​ so about six months ago, me and my friend decided to give myself box bleach highlights . As you could probably expect they turned out absolutely awful. We then decided the next morning to go back to the store and pick up brown hair dye and slap it over the bleach. It was OK for a while, but after a month or two, it started to have almost a ginger look to it. I decided to go and get it professionally died back to brown and for a while It looked great but recently I’ve noticed a green tint or sheen to my hair. I would prefer not to put more brown over it as I would have expect it to have the same result, but I was wondering if maybe I could cover it with partial highlights and just let it grow out. PLEASE HELP GREEN IS NOT MY COLOR
