Kelli's Ex Not Letting Her Kids Film

Am I missing something or is it kind of reasonable that Kelli's ex doesn't want his kids to appear on reality television? I don't see how this affects her life negatively unless it results in her not getting to spend time with them. It shouldn't affect her money or anything. It just doesn't seem like a cruel act as she is portraying. Controlling, maybe, but not unreasonable by any means. Thoughts?
