How do I access the android data folder? (Preferably without rooting the device)

Hey ya'll, I just got my thor a few days ago and spent the whole week tinkering with it and setting up all the games I wanted to play.

I just noticed after trying to install mods on my minecraft that I can't write on any of the folders under Android including data. I looked up some guides and followed them as best as I can, here's a list of the things I tried:

1. Plain moving the modded files through the files app - didn't work
2. Connecting it to my pc and moving through there - also getting access denied
3. Downloaded some file explorers like, Zarchiver, CX File Explore, and FV File manager - none of those worked.
4. I downloaded Shizuku as per a tutorial I watched, paired it, and gave all the file managers access - I was allowed to view the files through the file managers but not write or create a folder.

Can anyone give me a hand here? I'm really stumped. It's really annoying that android is extremely locked down for a gaming handheld to tinker with.
