Is my Bio dad a narcissist? Is he also a sociopath, me and my family think so.

[Rant/Vent, Advice OK]

General context: I stopped seeing him when I was 15, of my own choice. Bio could never hold down a job, or a house, or a relationship. I remember he had probably 15+ houses, 15+ jobs, and 15+ relationships in the time I saw him. He was emotionally, mentally, and physically abusive to my mother while they were married. My mom married a great man when I was 3, and they had my younger brother. This man is who I consider my dad, as this man has been a great father to me and my brother, even though him and my mom are divorced, I have seen him since the divorce often, and now see him on the same schedule my brother sees him. I love him, as he is my dad. I will refer to him as “good dad”

My biological father, or “bio” For short, was raised in an abusive household in the 70s and 80s, and 90s. This was when abuse was normalized so that probably had a strong effect on him, and his own father was the same way, in terms of jobs. He, however, growing up, lived in the same house, and his parents were married.

Bio was very emotionally and mentally abusive to me growing up. He was also physically abusive to an extent, (physically menacing me) and a few times, put hands on me. Bio was very physically imposing, as he was 6’0 ish and 210 lbs (200 towards when I stopped seeing him). He had this way of charming, or more accurately, reeling people in to be on his side. He would do this in public, in stores, malls, etc. And to anyone who would listen, he would smear my mother (who in all reality, is a saint), his own family, and whomever else he thought at the time had wronged him. He also had an obsession with law enforcement and the military, which we draw as an obsession with power and control. He often talked about shooting people, in self defense, but a few times in other cases, and talked about shooting people in my family, more specifically on good dad’s side. He also said, out of anger, how he hoped people in my mom’s side of the family would die. He did this more than once. Anyway, let’s get into brass tax of what he would do to me, and others.

- In the car with me, as I got older, he would often drive at fast speeds and talk about suicide. This started when I was 12.

- he cornered me in a bathroom and pulled a knife on me when I was 15, a few months before I stopped seeing him.

- he once, when he perceived I was coming up the stairs in a “threatening” way, came after me, which I had to back myself into a wall, while he yelled at the top of his lungs at me, screamed in my face, and told me to take a swing.

- regularly threw stuff, and broke them.

- threw my phone at the floor and broke it, but it still functioned after that. It was a few days before my birthday, so he bought us new phones to supposedly make up for it.

- broke chairs in a rage in front of me.

That is not all, so feel free to ask me more about it in the comments.
