2D rigging or hand drawn frame by frame for my series?
hello everyone, im early working on a 2D animated series called Marrowell's Chronicles , and im into 2D rigging and started this February learning it , im also an artist i can draw but the frame by frame animation is just too expensive for my possibilities
i think it depends on my show itself and how i want it to look like, you can make awesome animations by using the 2D rigging, My little Pony is a great example for that , with softwares like Moho or ToonBoom i think you can make a peak visual experience, my show's artstyle isn't using many complex shapes it's kinda similar to those 2000s cartoons such as Danny Phantom even tho the compering with it might be inaccurate because that was a hand drawn show, however, the hand drawn gives more life to the show and there are scenes and poses that are better for the hand drawn animation
just a matter of fact that i won't be working alone, i actually already got 1 2D rigging animator and looking up to find more and honestly my skills aren't that good (i literally started this February lol) , i heard that the 2D rigging is more economical and cheaper and honestly my budget isn't that much
making this series is my only dream and i want it to come alive in the best way it could
