Is the clutch supposed to feel lighter with a stainless steel clutch hose?

NB2 Miata. Redid my clutch hydraulics today and used the Flyin Miata stainless hose kit to replace the rubber hose and pigtail. Once I got the system bled and took the car for a drive, the clutch pedal felt significantly lighter than what I was used to. I had no trouble getting into gear and the car drove and shifted normally. Did I do a bad job bleeding the system or is the shorter line actually supposed to make a difference in pedal feel? Wanted to see if anyone had similar experience with this kit.
