Atelier Rias R/W: The alchemy is so RNG

With the gift colours needing to match to transfer traits. Because traits are FIFO, you basically can only control what traits you want within the 2nd to last or final item in the synthesis chain, and need to do a LONG web to get the gift colours you need since it's dependent on the 3rd slot, which again, because you've now linked gift colours, you can't have the trait you want as the first slot because they get kicked from the final item.

The drops for catalysts have been extremely RNG so far so I've been minimising the use of catalysts where possible except to get the traits I want, then transfer them to a Rainbow Neutraliser.

Am I wasting time trying to work around the gift colour system? If I try and farm for catalysts, I end up just clogging my inventory.
