someone stole my wallet

I left my wallet on the bus today so I took the next bus to follow and I was able to track the AirTag for like 45 minutes until randomly the AirTag updated after like 20 minutes and it was at some liquor store so I checked my bank statement and they spent like genuinely $500. In retrospect obviously I should’ve froze my cards immediately but I just had the false sense of security of being like “I am following the bus and I can see the location in real(ish) time”. Anyway I stood outside the liquor store and it connected via bluetooth and was like “green arrow 30 feet away” but unfortunately there was like a group of maybe 10 extremely sketchy people just hanging out in a parking lot so I was like okay, not a good idea to go over there alone with no self defense whatsoever. I definitely could’ve called the police but whatever I don’t want the person to go to jail. I hope they had a great night with $500 worth of liquor on Discovers dime. Anyway right now I can see their location so it’s just kind of funny I know where this person lives now. I think technology was not supposed to evolve this far like lol what am I supposed to do with this information.
