In Episode 2x10, 'The Library', after the gaang enter the date from the parchment into the planetarium, the planetarium shows a solar eclipse.

Sokka exclaims: "Firebenders lose their bending during a solar eclipse."

In response, Katara says: "That makes sense. Think of what the lunar eclipse at the North Pole did to the waterbenders."

But there was no lunar eclipse at the North Pole. At the North Pole, the moon didn't disappear because of an eclipse. It disappeared because Zhao captured it, then later killed it.

I don't know if this conversation has been had before, so I'm just curious what people think about it.
