Why all the hate for the OTHER game

First off, I just want to just say, I love Destiny.

I played both Destiny 1 and 2, and in my opinion, they were both great games (although I thought D1 was better than D2, but that's my personal opinion).

Why are so many Destiny players hating on Marathon, though? I get that resources of Marathon were basically siphoned from Destiny.

But at the same time, Marathon is objectively a great game. Those resources were put to good use, and even though the player counts might not reflect it right now, the game has a lot of potential.

Think of the first time you played Destiny 1. It was full of mystery and awe. There were so many unanswered questions. That's basically what Marathon is right now.

I get not everyone is into PvP, but if you haven't given it a chance, I would recommend trying it. It's currently free until the 11th.

The devs are very responsive to the community (unlike Destiny 2, which I think we can all agree, until this last update), and they realize they need PvE which is slowly being released (it takes time to cook).

By the way, I WILL be playing the update on June 9th. I love both games, but I wish more Destiny players would give the game a chance before hating on it.
