Transfer from GW2 to GW3

As a new player I wonder what to expect. In the new vid, the devs talked about how some stuff will transfer from GW2 to GW3. I just wonder what / how much. I don't want to feel pressured to no life the game now to get as much. Or whether some stuff would be added retroactively, so as long as I don't start playing GW3. It's all rather confusing 😅
