how to configure mixing music from IPad 11 and voice from XLR mic (Shure SM58SE) using Shure MVX2U to Sony XG300
I have the following devices:
-
Sony XG300
-
Shure SM58SE mic
-
Shure MVX2U
-
IPad 11
What i need is to being able to mix the voice from the Mic and the Audio Youtube app from IPad and to output that all mixed audio via the Shure audio connection to the Sony XG300.
Now, I tried many tutorials, and was not able to achieve that. "Monitor Mix" option for this mic is set to "50%" (I think it's default, but I checked on the PC app of "MOTIV Mix" , and it is set to this value). Once I connect all the devices: the Shure MVX2U via Type C with the IPad, the Sony XG300 and Shure MVX2U with Audio cable, the SHure MVX2U and Shure SM58SE via the XLR, I see on the IPad media center that the IPad has dected Shure as headphone. Once I want to speak into mic nothing happens. In the "Motiv Audio" app on IPad, once I open it, and start speaking into the mic, I do see it shows that the mic is alive.
Can someone help understand, whether I need some specific apple app to being able to output the music via the Type C from the IPad, which then go over the Shure MVX2U and then using audio connection to the Sony XG300 or Youtube Music should work, and how to make it work?
