Letter of Intent = Mission Impossible?!

Hi yawl! I need some tangible advice. I am looking to start a comemrical painting apprenticeship this summer but have had no luck with hiring managers/ superintendents. I know these guys are crazy busy but with the few I met/interviewed with back in April when I did a pre apprenticeship directly thru DC 14/Painters Union, they said reach back out in June. Ive been reaching out since Mid May. Even burnt up some gas drivin across IL to go in person(dated advice dont rec). Im getting desprate & thought of switching trades, but none seem interesting except Tile finishing but they dont make as much as painters... Any tips, tricks, or advice? Very close to emailing hire up folks like CEOs lol. 🤷🏽‍♀️🆘️
