K55 Core Keyboard Not Working?

So I've gotten two of these from Microcenter now. I've had the same issue with both of them now and I just cannot understand what is causing this. The first one lasted roughly 3 months, was working fine one day and then the next morning when I powered on my PC it just simply would not receive power from anything, different ports or even different devices. I got a new one last week and the same thing has just happened. I was playing Skyrim just fine last night, go to sleep, do some house work and now it just doesnt turn on anymore. I have a warranty set up but i'd like to fix it alteast or figure out what's wrong? I've tried resetting it "Hold esc before plugging it in, plug in, and release esc when it begins flashing" And it doesnt flash. Any history or support would be helpful.
