Trans male, I realize why men are lonely

So many of my male “friends” dropped me as soon as I came out as trans. (And I live in a very liberal area and am in a very lgbtq friendly social group so they’re not transphobic). After talking with others and discovering at least a couple had a crush on me, I realized they were only talking to me because they were waiting around for the .0001% chance I’d change my mind about them and decide to fuck them. Makes me feel like shit and also makes me feel less empathy for guys who say they’re “lonely” yet not actually interested in platonic friendships
