Am I too lowballing??---2026 sportage hybrid xline---in S. Cal.

So I finally got a chance to test drive the 16 sportage hybrid xline this morning.

I also asked to see sx prestige but didn't test drive it, even though I love SXP more and the techs, but thats over my budget anyway.

The dealer near me has these 26 sportage hybrids in their lots at least 3 weeks now, especially the xline im aiming for, the msrp is like $36k is with some add ons, the selling price for this dealer is like around $37k is and of course, have to plus taxes and fees.

One dealer a little farther away from me, also has same car for the discounted selling price for around $35ks is, plus taxes and fees.

The dealer i went this morning, since I told him that im just here for test driving, haven't made the decision yet, so we didn't talk about the #s at all, but before I left there, I just asked him what's rough otd for this x line would be and he said around $45k lol..of course I said I see, ill think about it and left.

I have done many researches and have seen xline hybrid went for $36.5k to $38k, above that, i consider it's high, but do you all think if I asked it for $36k OTD would be too much of lowballing at all to start with or to be firmed with?

Really love how it was driving and the comfort of the car!!
