Possibly exposed by a cat?

I am a temporary volunteer in an animal shelter. I got scratched by cats I was playing with on the thumb. I saw both of the cats that scratched me and they’re only 4 and 5 months old and haven’t gotten their rabies vaccinations yet. I was told about the 10 day rule. Also got a bandaid. Apparently if those cats don’t die 10 days from now I’m good. The shelter is rigorous in screening.
