Valheim Server 3rd party renting questions
To rip the bandaid off I'd like to ask some questions about renting servers going into Valheim 1.0. Assume I have no idea what I'm talking about.
I've already looked up suggestions for pay servers. https://www.reddit.com/r/valheim/search/?q=best+for+pay+server&cId=340cc82b-7385-4f5b-84b0-410176a6681a&iId=b11d219d-e889-4af9-aa34-42fdb9449e2d
So far the most common results are: host your own PC, dathost.net, and hosthavoc.com
I just have a couple of questions that can't easily be googled.
What are the second, and third best options if the website I choose is unavailable for whatever reasons?
Which website do I choose if I want an always on server in the center of the country if I am playing with friends who live on both coasts?
Which website let's me see the world seed file without much issue?
Which website let's me download a save of the world to play prior to the server running out?
Which website let's all of my friends make megastructures and sail in 10 different directions without lagging?
Which website easily let's me turn my friends into server admins and make whitelists and blacklists?
Which website is the easiest set up and go friendly? Like for onboarding friends into a server.
Which website let's me change settings of the server to improve performance for friends with lower end PCs?
Which website has a track record of updating the game to the newest version fastest if I want to play Valheim the day 1.0 drops?
Are there weird stipulations about squatting server space in preparation for the next patch cycle?
If I am willing to pay a bit more, what website will handle all of these issues and more?
