How do you actually stop using porn - what worked for you?

23M, and i have been addicted to porn for as long as i can remember. Most of it unknowingly, but in recent years my addiction has escalated majorly, and that id when i realised i was addicted and cannot stop.

I have somewhat “tried” to quit, but all i did was tell myself no more, which in the heat of the moment obviously doesn’t work.

So, how did you actually stop? What worked for you? What controls did you put in place? Any advice is appreciated.
