I NEED HELP WHY IS THIS HAPPENING

I’m new to this game. I killed nightwarden minthara, took a long rest, and now im getting automatilly being put in initiatives when I pass by a goblin….

Google searches say to load a save from before you took a long rest, but that didn’t seem to work….what is happening?
