On behalf of the salon: Stop no calling and no showing
On behalf of all the stylists who are too professional to say this themselves: it is so incredibly inconsiderate and plain fucked up to no call and no show on your hair appointment, ESPECIALLY if it is a long service that blocks the stylists entire day. My girlfriend has been a stylist there for the last 3 years and genuinely it is the best salon she’s been at. However the biggest downside is Ulta not holding credit card info to secure the appointment. There’s been a recent increase in this behavior and it impacts her schedule, her pay, and her overall mindset when this is so repetitive.
Most recently, she did a full consultation and booking through her hair page (for a full hair transformation). This client not only no showed and no called, but went somewhere ELSE to get her hair done. And what happened at that hair appointment? Botched!! We later came across a post from her showing really poorly done extensions. Karma for sure!
It’s okay to cancel your appointment!! Life happens! What’s not okay is not communicating AT ALL!!
Sincerely,
the partners of the hard working stylists 🧡
