which iPad would be best for reading Manga?

hello all!

currently wanting to purchase an iPad for reading and wondering what the best model would be for mainly reading manga and occasionally regular books.

i’m avoiding the kindle due to ads and not a fan of how slow the e-ink navigation is (also how the screen flashes black every time you press anything)

i’ve heard that the current iPad mini still has Jelly scroll so im probably going to skip that one…

what model ipad should i get, and should i purchase new or used?
