5:30am habit wakes advice please!
Hello!! My 9.5 month old went from sleeping through the night, maybe one wake up a night between 3-5, and would go back down easier with a little nurse and cuddle. She randomly started waking up only at 5:30ish and was not letting me put her back down. She’d wake up 15 mins later or just wouldn’t fall asleep at all. In desperation I started bringing her into my bed to nurse to sleep. It became an every day thing, and most times it takes her 30-45 mins to fall back asleep and unlatch. She’ll then sleep for another 1.5-2 hours and sometimes I have to wake her up if she’s not awake by 7:45. It’s starting to really take a toll on me because I don’t usually fall asleep that easily.
Oddly enough yesterday she woke up at 3am, went back down easily with a nurse and cuddle and didn’t wake up until 7. That was the first time we haven’t had a rough 5:30am wake in a couple of weeks.
She is sleep trained. Our schedule is 3/3.5/4ish.
I don’t do bedtime earlier than 7 and no later than 8:30, and the exact time is just dependent on how naps went and when her last nap ended.
How do I go about fixing this?! Any advice welcome!
Thank you :)
