help with swayd sandals sizing!

hi everyone, I am planning to get my first pair of swayd sandals (looking at the maya style) and need advice on sizing + whether to get a normal/wide shoe, especially given the difficulty returning/exchanging 😭

According to my measurements, my feet are 23cm long, 10cm across. Also have quite bad bunions :(

Based on my understanding, this places me pretty much between 37-38. Should I size down to 37 for the maya sandals? Do they “expand” as you dance?

I read other reviews that the front of the sandals could be quite tight, so am considering getting the wide modification (especially to accommodate my bunions). However, I am worried that it will be too loose and so difficult to spin in.
