Thoughts on looking younger than I actually am?

General Discussion

Okay this may be a weird post—I figured I’d shoot my shot anyways since it didn’t seem to go against sub rules, but do let me know if this isn’t allowed!!

I’m an early 20s woman and about 5’6 at 115 lbs, but I commonly get mistaken for a girl in their early high school years by both FFs and patients despite being out of that age range for a decent bit 😬 It’s honestly quite funny to me for the most part (and despite being in a more rural area in the US, I haven’t experienced much outright discrimination or anything like that), but it would be nice to be taken more seriously. I’ve found that I’m as physically fit as any other male FF/emt for the most part, but the baby face and small frame really just kills it. I am also asian as well so I guess that does not help in that respect. Though I am bulking which hopefully will both be better for my overall health and my appearance :)

But anyways, I was wondering if there were any tricks to make myself appear “older” to others (unhinged or not). I know there’s tips that other women have given out to set firm boundaries and speak clearly and such, but I do feel like I already do those things 😭 I’m kind of scratching my head at this point and desperate for any ideas.

TLDR: What are some things I can do to appear my age??? (Should I start chain smoking cigarettes?? Go to turkey and get a mustache transplant?? Start every sentence with “back in my day…”? Overline my brows and contour like I’m crazy? My only limits are buccal fat removal, any sort of amphetamines, and Ozempic—anything else will be considered.)

Send help.
