Why Do I Struggle to Make Friends?

I’m a 16F, turning 17 soon, and I’ve had the same two close friends since 8th grade. I’m grateful for them, but I’ve noticed that I struggle to make new friends. Even when I meet new people, it rarely turns into an actual friendship, and I’m not sure why. :))
