Unemployment in Sri Lanka

Hey all. I'm a recent graduate in BSC IT and have been on a job hunt for almost a year now. I want to be project manager/business analyst in the long run. I'd even like to start off with entry roles like helpdesk/support. But this doesn't seem to be going anywhere considering I don't get a call back and haven't landed an interview in a while now. I've always been a hard worker with a good academic record and it's disheartening to see the current situation that doesn't offer a chance to prove myself. Is anyone else going through this? Is there something else I could do? Build a portfolio or smn? Take an extra course? If so, what kind? I could really use some tips to land a job rn
